How to enable Night Light on Windows 10
The Windows 10 update brings Night Light, a blue light filter that allows your screen to use warmer nighttime colors so you can relax more easily and your vision improves. This setting can be activated by several methods in Windows 10.
One method is the Task Scheduler and another method is the Settings method. In this article, we’ll walk you through the entire process of enabling nighttime lighting in Windows 10 by using the Settings method.
Enable Night Light on Windows 10
To enable Night Light on Windows 10, follow this procedure step by step:
Click the Search button. Type Settings in the search bar and choose the option as the following image is showing:
As soon as you will click the Settings option, the following screen will appear:
Choose the System option from the Windows Settings as highlighted in the above image. As soon as you will select the System option, the following screen will appear:
As you can see that the screen is divided into two parts. Select the Display option from the left side of the screen. Turn the toggle button named Night light on as highlighted in the above image. To manage other settings of the Night Light, click Night light settings option and the following screen will appear:
Here click the Turn on now to turn on the night light. Color of the screen will be the same as selected in Color temperature at night. To schedule the night light, turn on the toggle button named Schedule night light and the following options will appear:
You have two options here. First is Sunset to sunrise, this option will on the night light after sunset. The second option is Set hours, here you can choose the hours to turn on and off the night light as per your choice.
By following this procedure you can enable Night Light on Windows 10.
